Soul Color Poem by michael Smajda

Soul Color

Rating: 4.7

Pigment of one's skin should not matter
Nor should one dress keeps us apart,
Passing through life's pitter-patter,
What really counts is the hue in one's heart.

Blinded by outer differences we have ignored the colors of soul. Beautiful composition. Congratulations!

So true! It matters not the color of skin; what matters is what lies within! Congratulations on poem of the day!

It should never be the skin but the soul that makes up a person. This poem hits on the mark, it is sad that in this day and age we should be still judged on something so inconsequential. So happy that this was chosen as POTD. A truly great poem
