Sonnet: The Post-Covid 19 World Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: The Post-Covid 19 World

Rating: 5.0

Some Covid warriors died although bit hailed!
The pandemic man-made or else does kill!
God's Nature healed the things where man had failed;
But in the end, the world is well or ill?

Some corrupt rule, while more corrupt sing praise;
The poor are poorer, rich accrue more wealth;
The time and money lost turns wild goose-chase;
Are nations bothered of their people's health?

Has mankind learned the lessons good or bad?
Will world rebound with unfairness much more?
But still some good things happened, we are glad;
The human heart and mind must turn not sore!

This pandemic is just a sample test!
This world must change from worse to be the best!
