Sonnet: Money Rules The Present World Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Money Rules The Present World

Rating: 4.0

My house is open to my siblings all;
My heart’s open to most human beings;
It is an unconditional and free call;
To be by friends, I want just sane earthlings!

I want so much to help the world ’round me;
My heart goes down to the poor and needy;
The genuine ones don’t come for charity;
The world I find is jealous and greedy!

The more I dilute my principles good,
There isn’t an increase in sanity found;
The money’s sake, some ingest any food!
Let world remain as such; I am God-bound.

The driving-force appears to be money!
These days, ev’n bees can’t make their own honey!
