What use is Gold as biscuits, nuggets, dust?
Put it to use and never keep idle;
Unlike Iron, may be it can nev'r rust;
How nice to see it made into jewel!

A jewel's beauty depends on design;
'Tis glorious when studded with precious stones;
The golden chalice holds Christ's bread and wine;
Gold kept in museums looks better when worn.

Our virtues, talents, good deeds are like gold;
On no account, these must be laid to rest;
Use them for good of others manifold;
Use them for sake of God and be thou best.

God-given gifts are meant for better use;
For human upliftment, not for disuse.
