Sometimes We All Poem by Ben Partenay

Sometimes We All

fall heavily
up.
she was saying
"tell me
about
the dark"

I wanted
a story, the
story of man
where no
secrets held
power.

fool moon
glaring down
pulling teeth,
hair, soft
mouth

we kissed.
sometimes
it's easier
to kiss
than tell.

we all
want that
I think.
