Silent Night Poem by Awal Ayobami Busari

Silent Night

Silent Night

Staring at the moon and the stars above
All night long
Singing a beautiful song
All alone.

I wish I could be the moonlight
That shines so bright
In the darkest hours
Of your life.

I'm wondering
If I could be the stars
That glitter smiles
In your sorrowful eyes.

The calmness of the night,
Ponder for a moment
whether I could make you mine
And enjoy the rest
Of your love.

O silent night!
I wish you could feel my love tonight
I wish I could stop the clock
That spins circles on the wall
And spend the moment forever.
