Rocky Road Traveling Poem by Dorsey Baker

Rocky Road Traveling

This is a lesson
that I've learned
where women are concerned
all men
travel on a rocky road
all men
travel on a rocky road
the weight
is so heavy
but all men
carry the load

You'll laugh and you'll cry
somehow you'll get by
in every man's life
women are the rain that must fall
the problem
with women is that they talk too much
and that they never listen at all

Women are a mystery
and no man will ever
break the code
There is a lesson that I've learned
where women are concerned
all men
travel
on a rocky road
