Name of the poem: "A Night Before Full Moon And Memories Of Holi" - Poem by Savita Tyagi

"Holi rightly starts just after the day of Purnima. Just before the setting of round or full moon in Eastern sky Holi celebration starts. Progressive moon we see at successive stages. At evening, at midnight and at early morning full moon changes expressions and becomes entirely colourful before setting.Opening the back door with great hope you have seen this moon who is slimy and very calm. Perfectly you have caught the glimpse of super moon which is yellow in colour. Dawn still dwells in lap of night and moon dwells in Eastern Sky. Celestial moon is hidden in celestial sky. A perfect hide and seek playing is naturally noticed.Traffic is almost sleeping with city people and moon is still playing hide and seek. Colourful night has gathered many dreams for dawn to become colourful. Night will paint the dawn with many colours before the setting of moon.

This natural happening will be celebrated by human beings after waking up at morning.Again we feel serenity in darkness of night and light of moon. With light, rain drops give us gentle touch and breeze of spring motivates all together. Silvery moon is very calm and no violent we see either in cloud or in sky or in moon. Majestic bloom of colourful flowers have started blooming. We inhale the fragrance of celebration. Quietness of night and quietness of moon both motivate sound of rain water to flow with colour of celebration. Awakened self does not sleep even in bed too as the eagerness of celebration grows more to see colours and colorful moon. Attentiveness grows much faster and we notice this natural celebration with eternal perception.

The jubilant festival Holi is specially celebrated in India in just today's tomorrow and this falls on just today' s tomorrow this year on 22nd March 2019 just after the colourful Purnima Day and World Poetry Day on 21st March 2019 of this year. Everywhere around neighborhoods people share food, sweets, new clothes and many more. Aroma of greenness starting from grass to tree all give us and we behold this aroma of colourful celebration. Laughter of crowd dances with colours of hope and joy and we hear the joyful song in this special celebration. this festival is a great celebration of unity, integration, love and peace. Holi is symbol of universal brotherhood. When we take part in Holi, all of our past childhood memories come alive. As child moon grows to full round yellow moon, our memories grow with us towards colours of celebration. Fresh sound mingles with raindrops of colours and fragrance of flowers of spring. Windowpanes allow drops to dance in their laps. Colourful rain drops dance in bare branches, leaves and in rooftops. We hear beautiful sound. Awakened state of mind perceives many natural happenings. Rain whispers with colours of moon and night adding unbreakable sweet memories to our previous treasure of memories. The barrier of time is broken but the barrier of memories is strengthened and treasured.

When sleep comes the magic of night stops but the magic of dream begins. The dream revives colors of reality next morning when we wake up. The unexpressed perception is often expressed in poetic mind and often we feel this. We feel the sweet melody of nature and all natural colours which fly across our abode today in this celebration day. The jubilant moment is very well expressed in this extraordinary poem. This is rare of rarest poems. We highly appreciate your effort. As per my opinion this poem is an outstanding Holi and celebration or festival poem ever I have read in my past many years.

This poem covers all corners of natural and social celebration and this is gem brought up ahead from your natural perception. This poem will be definitely beneficial to many readers, scholars and people. I hope one day this poem of yours will be leading poem. As I have described this poem as rarest of rare poems and declared that this is an outstanding poem, I also declare that the poem deserves full rating marks and this poem is above voting marks. I give full ten in rating for this poem and I have added this into my favorite list. I am very glad comprehensively reviewing this poem today on my desk."

This idea, this concept of remembering some poets on World Poetry Day is unique, which only a good-hearted poet like Kumarmani Mahakul can think of. Hats off to him. The choices are also apt as I can see.
