Regreted Demons Of Our Past Poem by greggorycharles hillier

Regreted Demons Of Our Past

why cant i erase you from my head
the one who stole my soul
the one who weighed me down
and let me drown
just one more helpless soul
added in your crown
just one more soul whose heart you bled
a fool who believed every lie you said
and if pains your gain iv paid the toll
with much more interest, my dying soul

i hate you yet why is your perfect face etched in my skull
a monster a demon! ! !
yet so beautiful

maybe its I whose a fool for my undying love
or maybe is it a curse from below?
or a gift from above?

Who knows
why oh why is it every time i close my eyes
like a fool I grieve for all our said goodbyes
you who broke me down, the center of my despise

I cant stop thinking
when we where together of every lie we'v told
every dance we'v dance
every messed up stunt we'v pulled
our hottest highs
our coldest colds

Just one more Regret of a Young fool
