Pygmalion Poem by Lev Brekhman

Pygmalion

The statue will not ever lie,
And will not betray your gentle trust.
It'll be with you your whole life,
And after, when you are just dust.
Also: it is not even dumb!
It is not even slightly deaf.
Revive her with your 'greenest' thumb,
You are a creator, not a thief.
