Poetry In Blood.... Poem by Varsha M

Poetry In Blood....

Rating: 5.0

Journey often begins with uncertain
Sneaks its ways through dark lawn
Never finding rest until it's done.

Amidst the confusions of acculturation
Fighting the battle to ultimately sustain
Landed Vijay sheshadri on American ground.

Drenched in the crunch of Eliot
Often his poetry do finds his lot
Colored in mentor's pure honor.

Tinching the Indian essence
The pulitzer winner for three sections
Admires his roots in Kannada Tamil soils.

Vijay sheshadri never turned back
Kept experimenting with narrative
Dipped in compulsive consciousness.

Frost and bishop's

Cajoled with anti-vietnam war
Contemporary American poetry flare
And a poet within him took birth.

The dissapearances, his collection
Addresses elements and human situation
Ultimately reflect September eleven incidence.
