Pies Poem by Tom Allport

Pies

Rating: 5.0

The desperation showed
In his sad eyes
If only he hadn't eaten
So many pies
For it was only
Done for a bet
But now as he rushed
To the toilet
The judge out cried
That he had won first prize.

A funny and engaging poem. I was once a pie-man but I'm past it now, sadly! A really good read, Tom
