Peace On Earth. Poem by Graham Jones

Whats happened to all the peace on earth
And goodwill to all mankind
It seems to me theres no such thing
Or at least its hard to find

It was lack of education
Or resources were to blame
But the western world
With all its greed
Appears to be the same

Was nothing learned from lessons past
From the waste of human life
That tyranny and bloodshed
Only lead to greater strife

Is there some vast plan we should know about
Before its all to late
Or will the world descend in misery
With its decadence and hate

With all their talks and summits
They should find a common path
To lead all nations of the world
In a peace that ought to last.
