Ogling Breasts … 2112-14

Rating: 3.5

Ogling breasts some pesky prick
But! Ah the perfect roasted chick

Bill was tickled and had a grin
I engrossed in the shoppers din

Golden brown and dripping fat
Drooling I got sucked into that

Birds were on a throwaway sale
The lines on checkout a daily tale

Fumbling purse, how much I had
By now my hip was hurting bad

None among teens or younger lot
Bent old lady who had some thought

Looked at me and made some way
Smiled beamed and made my day

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
spur of the moment poem, on a friends narrative of her ordeal at a shopping mall. Full of Christmas shoppers, oglers and hangers on.
The welcome sight of well done chicken in the rotisserie at a throw away price.
how an old lady was the only one who helped here while younger people stood around not prepared to allow her to hop a turn, she was obviously in pain from a hurting hip.

It's an amusing and vivid description of a shopping mall. It seems the writer observed it himself but the notes say otherwise. I enjoyed reading it.
