Nostalgia Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Nostalgia

It seems yesterday when a toddler I smiled and giggled always
Our teachers would get crossed and took many ways
To stop us from being frivolous
All at frowns lost the smile from their face
So for us matter turned worse
At times they took to curse
When we took to plays
Yes in the classroom
They wanted to groom
Before we run our race
And get good marks by our grace
But we preferred to laugh and enjoy the sunshine

Now life at times seems too tough where the sun never peeps out
It has hidden behind the dark clouds and none you can count
But you have a way to keep worries at bay
Think of your school days to light your face always.
