Night Poem by Pierre Rausch

Night

Night, night, night

I have to go and catch my bus
I think of an even better idea
A gimmick mediocre at best
I'd like to hear it

Night, night, night
Night, night, night

Same glass breaking, same music
Same beer, same middle fingers

Night, night, night
Night, night, night

Walking down that aisle
I'd have been done

Night, night, night
Night, night, night

True romance, true love
She's come a long way
Listening to old-timers
And describing it to you

And asked for a lot of things
Fair play for all of them

Night, night, night
Night, night, night

True romance, true love
She's come a long way
Listening to old-timers
And describing it to you
