Nature Has Fight Or Flight Response Instincts Poem by Terence George Craddock

Nature Has Fight Or Flight Response Instincts

Rating: 5.0

when the hyena attack vicious
with cruel bone crunching teeth
a herd of zebra will for life run

a herd of zebra will run for life
an instinctive fight or flight response
zebra cannot fight hyena lions

when a woman is victim attacked in dark streets
shouts rape rape rape only the fearless will come
brave souls ready to fight for helpless innocence

social studies have proven during sleep hours
quiet night all abed people will wake to fight fire
instinctive need to put out fear defeats fear of fire

we are told at night it is better to shout fire not rape
fire fire fire gets more people more support help faster
sadly apparently true survival fight flight instincts
