My Daughter Poem by Trailakya Roy

My Daughter

Rating: 4.7

My daughter is cutie.
Like her mom's beauty.
I call her little Bini
Sumi calls lovely Mini.
Lying in her swing-bed
Tries to raise her head
Makes some bubbling sound.
Makes us spellbound.
Looking at her tiny face
I forget all weariness.
Sumi's heart she is, and my Head.
Now Our dream is to make her great.

Fantastic poem with a great imagery and a fine narrative. The passion with which the poem has been written makes it as real as it could be. The poet deserves accolades for his poem on a girl child or a baby girl whom he hails as his daughter though an imaginary one.
