Mother's Lap

Rating: 5.0

Little children you come fast
Do not remain at the last
Go and sit in mother's lap
In cheer you do clap and clap.

Lovely, Lovely little girls
Form you soon scene of curls.
Talks ever the monk of light
Come up towards ever bright.

Little boys you sing song
Never do you fall in wrong
Dance and sing with little clap
Come on soon to mother's lap.

Girls you cook the crop grain
Never do you get pain
Doing duty you march fast
For knowledge improve your thirst.

Come on children fall on lap,
God's story you hear and clap.
Do not sit you at the last
Little children you come fast.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
"You come fast oh dear little children. At last you do not remain. You go and sit in mother's lap. In cheer you clap by sitting. Oh dear, lovely, lovely little girls! You soon form curved shaped rows. The monk of light ever talks and says that you come towards bright future. Oh dear little boys you sing song. You do never fall in wrong path. With little clap you sing and dance. To mother's lap you come on soon. Oh girls you cook crop grain. You do never get pain of work. Doing your duty you march fast ahead. You improve your thirst for knowledge. Oh children! You come on and fall in lap of mother. You hear God's story remaining in lap and go on clapping. At last you do not sit. Oh dear little children! To sit in mother's lap you come fast and do not do late." This poem is based on such theme for encouraging and awaking children. This is written in Deogarh, Odisha, India and dedicated to the people of the world.
