Morning Poem by Victor Cruickshank

Morning

Rating: 5.0

Oh what a good day
This is the day that the Lord hath made
I'll be glad and rejoice in it
The early sunshine wakes up the sleepy
The sun comes after the moon and stars
When I look out the windows the cars
I know this day is a gift to me
This day will never repeat itself
I will work and study today
I will strive for the best in every way
I will start in the morning.

Great way to greet the new day, I enjoyed this poem very much. Liked the procrastination at the end also! Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn
