Money Is At The Center Of All

These days, money is at the center of all
Without money, a politician has no power
Big money, huge money is at the center
Without money, one is obviously poor
Money is almost everything, Thanks to God
For health. Without good health, money
Is nothing, like a pauper, like a fusty cod
Money and power are, of course, provisory
Money has no wings, no propellers, but it can fly
Money is not a magician, but it can disappear
Money can evaporate like the clouds in the sky
Money can run and fly away like a leaping deer
My friends, money is at the center of all evils
Money creates gangsters who have power to kill
Money builds bridges for bad contractors to steal
To become powerful enough to destroy many souls
Money is useful, destructive, indispensable and bad
I'm hangdog to talk about it like that, I know that I'm right
Money is, in reality, destroying our world. I want to shed
The lucent lights on money, which is bad, good and out of sight.

Money itself is worthless, it's value determined by it's backing. Is it silver, is it gold, is it platinum, or is it a fiat currency which is completely imaginary. Halls filled with IOUs.
A empty promise upon cashing in. The reality is money only has the power we say it has. We determine goods worth by spending it. And if we stop spending it, it becomes a national crisis. Good poem man.
