Missing You Poem by Swathi Harish

Missing You

Rating: 4.5

Let me wake up from this dream, or is it nightmare
I swam through your feelings upstream, did you even care
Your mood swing made me reach heights and then the string was cut,
I had enjoyed even the silly fights before ur feelings got shut.
U taught me to regret,
U taught me to stay quiet,
A Frnd like you I'll never get,
Why didn't u teach me how to forget.

When you were sad I let out tears of care, not that you asked
Remember those days when you used to share, well the time has passed
Whatever you do my concern for you will never change,
I just wished even you were on the same page.
You taught me to regret,
You taught me to stay quiet,
A Frnd like u I'll never get,
Why didn't u teach me how to forget.

Love is a spiritual experience that affects us profoundly. It's whimsical and temperamental, coming and may leave without warning. It's a well articulated piece of poetry nicely penned from the heart. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. ➕9
