Memory Poem by Lely Atempa

Memory

A memory is just what you are,
You are someone from My past.

Someone who I used to know very well
But you are now replaced with this Memory

You are so different from my Memory
You are mean, selfish, a complete joke

You are pretending to be someone your not.

While in My memory you are kind
Sweet, gentle, helpful and full of joy

You were just a ball of sunshine

But yeah "were" as in past tense
You are completely different

You were a wonderful butterfly

Who somehow turned into a

Annoying

Pesky

Mosquito

I enjoyed the times when we hung out
But we don't anymore

All you care about is popularity

And

That guy that you like in your class

So you are now called a Memory
That suits you the best.

And I will never forget about you

Because you are my Memory

And I am your Memory.
