The candle is burning
And I writing my love poetry
Trying to grapple with love and its sadness
Wiping the tears all but myself
Feeling for and writing,
Putting the unputdownable on paper
And the tear drops sometimes making the paper wet with
Tears fallen onto
In somebody's memory
Whom love I so much
But cannot express
Or have lost
Whoever be he or she,
But with whom to share the feelings
As see I no friend trustworthy of
Sharing the emotions and feelings,
The pains of this life and living
And loving,
I mean life experiences?
