Letter Of Love Poem by Spock the Vegan

Letter Of Love

Oh Henry,
Lettuce take a walk down
Annabella's Rocky Road
as we talk about tomorrow.

Don't Snicker as we look
at Mars and the Milky Way.
Let our Tulips meet
as our red hearts Beet.

Don't Hershey as we kiss
and we reminisce,
and most of all Sweet Pea,
Don't Turnip your nose
as I propose,
or I will forever be in sorrow.

Love,
Petunia

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My older sister wrote a similar poem many years ago that she might have forgotten about.
I tried to remember it and add to it. I hope she will approve.

Very nice. I recognized the names of a few candy bars in there. The only line I could not understand was " Don't Hershey as we kiss" . To me, that line didn't make sense. Maybe I'm just dense.
