'Lefty' Poem by Robert Eckstein

'Lefty'

Once I knew a fellow who'd had a circus act
He'd put his right arm in a lion's mouth, up to the elbow. It's a fact.
The lion didn't realize that it was just a game.
Once I knew a fellow. 'Lefty' was his name.
