Rating: 3.9

Is a thing to which we black are wise:
Her bandage hides two festering sores

Powerful poem about a strong subject. Injustice is the only justice lots of black people know. Great Poem.

Although it is such a short poem but very sarcastic. But she can still see if she wants to.

So sharp and intense! Langston Hughes has recorded the painful black experience in equally painful words.
