Inside The Souls That Fly

Poem by Robert M Smith

Soaring on the wings of thoughts
Life teaches emptiness
Reaching out to touch night
Here we see the Milky Way
A flowing gown all white.

Winking diamonds so far and bright
In thoughts we are able to see
Whatever we are meant to be
Significant and insignificant
Inside the souls that fly.

The best poem of the day my friend, this is the kind of poetry that should be poem of the day,
Real poetry, I look at todays pick and I just don’t see any poetry whatsoever, it’s a handful of poets I hang around this site and you are one of them Robert! Keep them coming my friend! ! !(Report)Reply
