Incredible Me Poem by Ann Miller

Incredible Me

Rating: 4.0

I work, I toil.
Day in, day out.
I dream, aspire,
But all for naught.

But why do we dream,
As we do.
Why do we wish,
As we are taught.

Why do I work for another's goals.
Why do I try to fit in.
Who is fit to judge me.
Who knows me best.

I alone can dream my dreams.
I alone can fight my fights.
Only I can truly see,
My creation of an incredible me.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I have met some inexplicably incredible people in my life...and even those phenom individuals needed a 2nd opinion every now and then...That said, I think I can read through your underlyings in the fact that you are someone who exudes confidence and would rather handle things in general...your oewn way, in your own style that most probably has for the most part worked well for you...I like this poem, and your outspoken expression...That's what makes a good Poet/Writer or successful business person... The silently clamorous voice of Poetry can be heard in this work....Solid penning, young lady~FjR~.
