I Wish I Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

I Wish I

I wish I

I wish I could drop, the pen and, the paper
And the words as we use, as we write

Instead

Take the scents of grass or the rose or fruits
And mother with breast in child's mouth
And father when he cares, embarrassed

Or others

And the sheets of conscious
And then write
Like painter on canvas and the walls
Or skin (of the goat, or deer, or tree)

Of

The time of growth
And the time of pluck or when cut
And the time when are wet, or dry

I wish I

Leave this world of copy, typewriter and keyboard
Instead I'd invent new world
Filled with love
With feelings
And senses
