I Wish A Curse Poem by Randy McClave

I Wish A Curse

Upon you I wish a curse
No, I wish upon you much worse,
I hope that you are happy when you are free
And that you never find no one else like me.
I hope that you desperately search for a mate
To become more than just a first date,
And like you I hope that they scream and yell
And with filthy language their stories they do tell.
I hope like you they too enjoy using illegal drugs
And I hope also that their house is full of bugs,
And daily I hope that you let out a memory and a sigh
Knowing and remembering, that your partner is nothing like I.
I hope like you that they also don't have a job
And I also hope that they are a slob,
I hope that they have no money to pay their bills
But, I hope that they can pick up your medical pills.
I hope that all their mistakes they blame on you and others
Especially blaming you with their lies that smothers,
And I sadly hope that your dignity can't be reclaimed
Remembering your treatment to me, I hope that you are shamed.
I hope that your partner enjoys kissing you and holding your hand
I hope a future together you both have planned,
And I certainly hope that when their friends and family are nearby
"We are only friends"! I hope for for your partner to decry.
I hope that your partner puts everyone, except you first
Then I hope that you remember that you have been cursed,
I truly wish that you could find someone just like you
And they say and do to you, what you have put me through.
