I’ll Have Fulfilled My Final Role Poem by Edwin Tanguma

I’ll Have Fulfilled My Final Role

I’ll Have Fulfilled My Final Role

I hope ya’ll will not miss me
When I move to Mexico
With this domino effect and such
It seems I really may have to go

It may appear that
My little house of cards
Has been demolished
Into shards

Well it could be a lot worse
If you think about it
I could be stuck here in the US
The country that’s full of S_ _ _

I don’t think ya’ll will miss me
I wonder what my life will be like
In a country where life is cheap
If I really do go on that hike

What will the world be like
If and when I do die
Will anyone else
Meet My Father in the sky

I sure hope them Mexicans
Are as nice as I remember
And I sure hope I don’t meet one
Who will want to dismember

My poor fragile body
Which bears my weary soul
Yet if this does happen
I’ll have fulfilled my final role

P.s. Is this a silly poem or what?
