God Crying No More - Inspired By The Shack Poem by Richard Wlodarski

God Crying No More - Inspired By The Shack

Rating: 5.0

I will collect
Tears of pain
Endured from life
Of such damn strife

I will store
Your life's bore
Let you cry no more
'til you see to the core

Amassing such lonely
Tears of memory
Lessening misery
Brightening history

I will collect
Tears of love
And wondrous joy
'til God cries no more

I read The Shack but have not seen the movie. That was a great opening and closing to this piece, it gives a destination and a period to the journey, a poetic touch that I've always felt enhances certain poems. .'til God cries no more - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - now that is a line that will haunt me for a long long time. Extremely well-done, Richard. 10
