Is your friend
In distress
Who makes you genuinely
cry
Not who makes you
falsely laugh
high

Your friend is your friend
Who gives you a hand
Without asking you
Why

Some of you
Are proud of numerous
Friends
Lo…Genius friend,
like piece of pearls
low in number
In price..high

Neverjudge over friends
Wait until you try them
Just then you can decide
Whether they tell truth
Or lie

My father mocked at me
When I once said
I have ten friends
As youth
But he made me
Shy

‘One and half friend
My son
Have
I..'
He smiled at me sweetly
To defy:
(the complete ONEprotected me
with his body
Ready for me to die
The other HALF
came forth with all he possessed
Green and dry..'

I heard my grandfather
in his grave whispering:
‘If you doubt the loyalty of your friends,
let them go
If they come back to you,
they were always yours
