Fruits Of A Relationship Poem by Tyler Burke

Fruits Of A Relationship

You pick the fruits that allow your relations to grow
You mold them mend them with your mind like dough

Some we love and some we hate
Who we choose is always a debate

Words we speak now have no meaning
words just spoken by those who are feigning

'I love you' can be so seeming
until the person you love gives up it can feel so demeaning

To stay so bright you are sunlight gleaming
the darkness falls please enough of the cheating

How can you look into my eyes
and feed me spoonfuls all of lies

But its alright I will not fright
I have a friend its called the night

There you can find me as I write
about relationships and my old fights

There is lots I can't tell I don't know why
But one thing is for sure, i'm simply too nice of a guy
