Experiment And Experience Poem by Savita Tyagi

Experiment And Experience

Rating: 5.0

Read a book about rich and famous
And thought so this is what
A life of wealth is all about
Heard the news and wondered
Is that what astir the world
Not a science student
Yet some reading on quantum physics
Was fascinating
Each atom in universe
Each cell in our body
Made up with vortices of energy
Constantly spinning and vibrating
Each one radiating and spreading
With its own unique energy signature
We are much more than
What we perceive ourselves to be
These infinite number of small energy vortices
These quarks and photons
This invisible tornado like vortex of atom
Seen under microscope
Eventually disappears in a void!
The atom has no physical structure!
We have no physical structure!
Physical things really don't have any physical structure!
Wow! This world is made up of thought!
We live in a mental universe
Turned mysteriously into material world
With all its illusion of realty!
All of a sudden ancient mystic practices
The ambiguous Vedic verses
The philosophical Greek writings
Zen and Buddhist teachings
Came together to make a sense
What was once a hidden knowledge
Shines in full view in quantum physics
Questions still remain yet each answer
Creates a new fascination for the unknown
The Spiritual way of teaching goes a step further
In its quest to challenge and inspires us
To experience it all in our own self
Wing the soul to unknown
Seduce the wandering mind to transcend
Beyond this tangible world
To dive deep and discover the truth
‘ How an observer becomes a creator'!
Where all knowledge gets combined
To show a clear path of understanding
All disconnect of languid surroundings
All various experiences of life
Connect to become uniform
All find their resting place
Upon One shiny platform!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
These expressions are inspired by my recent readings of many articles of Quantum Physics. Though I am not a science student and can not follow their methods of experiments fully, yet I found end results fascinating. How close science has come in validating the truths declared in our ancient scriptures but expressed in mystic language. These ancient writings I believe are testimony of certain truth experienced by those sages.

Beautiful presentation really. Reading a book is of course nice habit and searching happiness in this context is definitely amazing with respect to quantum physics. Nice poem ever shared.

WOW' - Amazing -it is Savita! ! The way you felt about Quantum Physics and connected it with the quest for knowledge and wisdom as detailed in Vedas, Greek early thoughts or in Boddhist teachings is totally an eye opener towards knowing the Absolute..... Thanks for sharing your feeling.

We are much more than What we perceive ourselves to be Each person a bundle of small particles full of energy that can make a difference in the world. The truth of physical world is beautifully captured in the poem. Thank you.
