Ever So Grateful Poem by Cee Bea

Ever So Grateful

What is the day
without her light?
hope held behind
rising thunderheads
as a whisper is carried home

many wonder why
few will look closely,
more will be forgiven..
in aftermarket confessions

while a giant lay sleeping
in rest.
we will
help support the sun
hoping
for a sweet return
that the hills will once again
come alive...and
the bells will toll, forever and a day

we will all be
ever so grateful.
