Diamond In The Sky Poem by Ronald Strickland

Diamond In The Sky

Rating: 4.5

As I watched the diamond shape in the sky with a tail
waving with the wind.
The shape dipped and sagged and climbed high again.

A child ran with amazement and laughter as he tripped, but with laughter regained and ran again, the diamond shape followed, keeping high with the summer wind. the child's laughter and amazement seemed to never end.

The warm summer wind is when this fun begins, as a child I too ran with the diamond in the sky and laughter with amazement and enjoyed the summer wind.
