Let Common Wealth Games begin
With lots of enthusiasm and fun
It is matter of pride and honor
The games bring father in cap for all
Why at all the countries should unite?
Take part in games with universal spirit
Compete like rivals and fight for position
This is all about sport and its glorification
There is no bar for small or big nation
It is building harmony with international relation
Each country is fighting for honor and name
The National flag is entity and symbol to claim
No matter how many medals have been won
No concern for where medals have gone
It is super and excellent show for sport persons
To stake claim for superiority with reasons
Let flags of all countries rise high
With glory and honor to our delight
Sportsmen can create special space
Sans color, creed and race
