Civilization's Tragic Cave Ins Poem by Terence George Craddock

Civilization's Tragic Cave Ins

Comets Meteors Volcanoes Earthquakes Tsunamis!
Tornadoes Hurricanes Floods Droughts Wild Fires!
Tidal Waves Avalanches Landslides Thunderstorms!

Cold Ice Snow Hail Dust Storms Famine Pestilence
Plague Contagious Diseases... Global Warming?

go figure
as if nature
did not have enough...

natural disasters
we had to go invent
more? More?

were there not enough
natural disasters?
were there not enough
natural diseases?

Did we really need to invent Wars?

biological chemical nuclear weapons?

were not stones sticks spears bows arrows enough?
were not swords cross bows flintlocks enough?
were not cannon rifles rockets missiles enough?

were not military tanks ships submarines aircraft enough?
new designs, new guns, new chemicals, new germs?
but only while stocks last? then we invent new stockpiles?

Did we really need to invent Wars?

Do we really need to promote war in movies on television?
Do we really need government war junkie politicians?
you choose? sanctions? blockades? cold wars? hot wars? no wars?
