Chilled Petal Poem by Lorraine Margueritte Gasrel Black

Chilled Petal

Rating: 4.5

under the snow
a rose rises
to greet the Sun

touched by a
rainbow
it trembles

as the breeze
catches and releases
the captive bud

falls
lost to the dreams
of lost love

A beautiful poem, very touching and gentle. Touched by a rainbow it trembles - a subtle poignancy, very nice! ! Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn
