Casting Out The Dust Of Winter: Anticipating Spring Poem by Terence George Craddock

Casting Out The Dust Of Winter: Anticipating Spring

Rating: 5.0

I am casting out... the dust of winter...
winter cold... came creeping...
into shadows... falling shadows... an autumn house...
creeping into... cold blue winter...
biting winter... empty spaces...

I am casting out... the dust of winter...
in this expected... cold burst spell...
winter lingers lingering... coldest coldest... month in the year
two weeks eaten... a third two days...
weeks weeks slowly eaten... finally into the forth...

I am casting out... the dust of winter...
dust cold mist... came creeping...
into breath... cold spaces... time age creeping...
dust is a film... chill cold stealing...
in over silent winter... chill days dust sleeping...

I am casting out... the dust of winter...
days dark starting... walking to work...
in a station wagon... mail delivering... in an old worn out...
car mail delivering... winter roads mail boxes...
rural delivery... to blue mountain route driving...
