Again Last Night (Rev) Poem by Barry Jablonski

Again Last Night (Rev)

I dreamed of you again last night
And was delighted to have you near
But a nightmare woke me with a fright
When your face began to disappear

I was feeling lost, without you dear
And gave thought to my lonely plight
You've been gone now, for over a year
But it seems so much longer tonight

And I believe it's been a fortnight
Since I've been able to shed a tear
But I see now with each dawning light
Your visage is becoming less clear

So I pray you won't think me insincere
When I share my dreams at midnight
For your kisses, I shall always revere
Until the day we can finally re-unite
