A Poet Is Heard Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Poet Is Heard

Turnabout shyness being lifted and put away in a
closet of past attitudes.

Today, moving forward, enjoying reciting poetry
in front of a group.

It's titillating, wonderful, watching other's eyes
upon you, sparks of interest emanating from them.

All eyes focused on a poet, listening intently to
what has been created never before in life.

An original poem being read for the first time - a
time for being born.

Life is enhanced with each new thought of future
reading - a natural high - a feeling of well-being.

Knowing now, that you're somebody special - you're
a poet being listened to.

A very honest realization. Say or not a creator always awaits eagerly to get recognized of his/her creation. This recognition is of immense value to propel the creator to the new assignments. Recognition is a key factor for a creator to create more in a better way.
