A Life Without Laughter Is A Life Not Lived Poem by Allen Steble The Philosophical Poet

A Life Without Laughter Is A Life Not Lived

Rating: 3.5

Life without laughter
Is a sunset without color
A desert storm with no rain
Flavorless ice cream, so plain
Life without laughter is a life not lived

Life without laughter
Is a lavender candle with no scent
A million dollars that's never spent
An obstacle course that never ceases
A complete canvas in a thousand pieces
Life without laughter is a life not lived

Life without laughter
Is a piano masterpiece that crescendo's off key
A dead house fly in your perfect cup of tea
A blockbuster movie where the bad guy wins
One big steel-toed kick right to your shin
Life without laughter is a life not lived

Laugh...
Laugh hard
Laugh out long and loud
For life without laughter
Is a dense dark storm cloud
That rains misery without relief
Laugh out mighty and proud
Because a life without laughter
Is a life that was never lived...
