A Different Lady Poem by Dr Dillip K Swain

A Different Lady

Rating: 5.0

She is not hard like iron
But her softness works in her favor
She dares not to walk at midnight
Into the world of thieves and abductors
But her acumen can abduct abductors
She is not empowered like a Hitler
But her drollness pacifies Hitlers
She stands elated, fights for freedom
For freedom in all walks of life
Breaking the prevalent shackles of
Men dominated society defying women
Crafting a new world order

She embraces martial arts
To brace her hands and legs
And her alluring physique
Men should love not dishonor
Still sometimes she is feeble
To take stern actions against defaulters
Out of love and compassion

Let her gather the courage
Let her render support
To rule her domain through tenderness
Through courage, grit, and love
Assuring peace and harmony
Resolving chaos and disorder
Mischief and mistrust all around
Through her womanly power
As a wife, a sister, a mother
