Noel Tupan Poems

I always ponder,
about the coming years,
and our life ahead.
Would you still be the same,
...

The deafening sound of applause,
the roaring chants in unison.
The audience's yell on every kick,
rejoice heard on every goal made.
...

I will go home now, my dear
After a day of sweat and fear
After a day of fatigue and hunger
After a deafening noise of blasts and flare
...

Have I told you about yesterday? ,
of the lush green mountains I saw,
the thick virgin forest,
the flock of birds that dwell on the trees.
...

At times,
there’s tranquility,
serenity
of the surroundings
...

If I can fly,
I will take you to the highest peak
So you would see what's on the ground
For I know you heard the whimpers
...

Leisurely passing below the horizon,
The sun kisses the tranquil sea.
That from which a backdrop,
Of a reddish-yellow sky I see.
...

Felt a little ennui
As I waited for the midnight hour
Then I heard the footsteps
Drawing near towards the door
...

Here comes the sun, shining so bright,
smiling after the storm had passed,
a sign of hope for those who fall.
Rise up! That’s what it tells us all.
...

I think it is now the time for me
To weep and let my tears fall down
For I now slowly feel and see
That it’s time for you to leave the town
...

There’s a fever approaching,
but some people are rejoicing,
they are now full of vim,
a chance to get what they aim.
...

As dark as the clouds in the sky, telling
that a heavy rain is about to fall;
a poignant heart is about to burst
and tears would fall while looking at
...

There will never be someone
who could replace you my dear
for I can’t find anymore
someone who’s very sincere.
...

What is it that a blind man sees
that I do not see
or sensed that I do not sense.
...

Along the seashore I walk
To the waves and seashells I talk
Watching the sunset at the horizon
That gives color to the warm afternoon.
...

The things that has been forgotten
The manners that has been in system
The action that was focused on one thing
The life so busy yet so boring
...

A man striving for his future,
Betting his life with an intent so pure,
Armed with courage and heart so brave,
Mustering the tactics to face the challenge.
...

If today, there are things that I do,
And tomorrow you won’t see me doing so,
Do not wonder nor perceive any fear,
For sometimes there are systems we need to alter.
...

You run as far as you can,
then hide from everyone.
Now, all that you hear is stillness.
You are running and hiding…
...

The adage says;
Love knows no boundary,
for it has no end,
and chooses no time.

When We Grow Old

I always ponder,
about the coming years,
and our life ahead.
Would you still be the same,
like the way you used to be?
Would you still hold my hand,
when we cross the street?
Would you still touch my hair,
even when it becomes grey or it’s all gone?

Sometimes my heart fears,
that tomorrow you might forget,
the things we used to do,
for old age might take away,
and ruin your memory.

But I also have fears,
that it’s me who would forget,
everything we used to do,
Or I may not be able to carry out,
because of physical inability,
when arthritis strikes me,
Or Alzheimer takes away my memory.

When we grow old, I wish
that nothing would change
and only you and me, without end.

Noel Tupan Quotes

Always think of the best for yourself and your fellow, and achieve it in the most possible way without deceiving anybody, and rise not at the expense of somebody.

Never waste time, Gain more knowledge, Gain more experience, Take a lot of enjoyment, Life is yours; make it worthwhile.

Shame is the man who has no ambition, For he'll bequeath nothing to his children. Shame is the man who dreams of nothing, For he'll take the path of shameful fame.

Words can make us grow if we know how to use it right, or can bring us down if success gobbles our wisdom.
