Michael Hales Poems

Death dawns slowly but surely....
Hiding in the crevises of my mind,
are the remains of shattered memories.
Spring, Summer, Autumn and winter,
...

A thought to you
lets call it my prayer
a feeling of sadness
in this world that's unfair.
...

A dark seed-that impregnates the deepest recesses of the mind,
Growing and entangling it's vines to suffocate over time.
A weed that spreads it's melancholy with no reason or rhyme,
Overpowering happiness, wellbeing and the ability to be fine.

Memories

Death dawns slowly but surely....
Hiding in the crevises of my mind,
are the remains of shattered memories.
Spring, Summer, Autumn and winter,
All pass in a flash!
Death denies me,
but still i fall into the abyss.
Alone..........
Yet not alone,
Accompanied by my tortured thoughts.
Trapped in my minds eye,
suspended between life and death.
