I can imagine a time
When a true smile always dones my face
I am older and in my prime

When a stranger shall meet me
It will never be known that I have ever shed a tear
Stuck on a stereotype, but it's what I want to be

It might not be so bad to look like my father
Or to be stuck in the American dream
Where it's to be decided if I am more like my mother

I wouldn't be able to recall the sound of silence*
My nights filled with happiness until my life shall end
Yin and Yang granted me their balance

Of course there would be a family too
And maybe my soul will be two?

*Simon and Garfunkel, The Sound of Silence (a song)
