Broken

Roses are dead, violets are dying
Outside I'm smiling, Inside I'm crying
I saw it coming
But out of love, I paid no attention
Just because I look happy, doesn't mean I'm not broken
Every memory is now a battle
Every step has got trust issues
You don't know what goes on during the war
You don't know who dies
You don't know who's hurt
You just don't know how it feels
I'm trying so hard
But everyday seems the same
For a moment everything seems better
I had hope again
But, I lost it all again
I know I will be okay, but not today
And probably not tomorrow
Behind my smile there is a story
A story you will never understand
